About the Role

Our mission at Thread is to reboot the Managed IT Services industry and create service magic for IT service providers (MSPs). As the first Service Collaboration Platform in the market, Thread helps MSPs turn their end customers' worst support experiences into moments of magic. We are a VC-backed startup made up of makers and problem solvers, having built high-performance software products and operated MSPs whose problems we are directly solving. Thread has teams across the US, Europe, and Latin America as a remote-first company.

As a Senior Product Manager at Thread, you will lead a team of engineers and designers to transform ideas into products and work with Growth and Marketing teams to engage your target users around these releases. You will own the roadmap for specific product lines like Thread's Inbox, Messenger, and Copilot and be responsible for engaging and delighting multiple customer types including Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and their end customers.

In this role, you will also embrace AI as our resident “AI prototyper” and own explorations of AI applications within the Thread ecosystem. We are looking for a teammate driven by design-first software, excited by AI and its role in transforming everyday tasks into magical experiences and motivated by rapid iteration.

What you’ll do:

• Own the roadmap and priorities for specific teams and product lines;
• Lead the complete product lifecycle from evaluating early ideas to designing go-to-market collateral;
• Own product discovery including leading user interviews, competitive research, and data analysis, and incorporate this data into your day-to-day decision-making;
  Work closely with design and engineering teams to create product documentation, iterate prototypes, and drive delivery - and empower your team to make great product decisions in the process.
• Enable growth and marketing teams to communicate with and succeed with Partners.

What you should have:

• 7+ years of product management experience in the SaaS or consumer software industry building products from ideation to launch
• Experience working in a startup or high-growth tech company
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence others throughout a remote-first organization
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence small teams of engineers, designers, and other contributors toward a common goal

• A track record of building customer-facing products that place a premium on design and user experience
• An openness to be “radical” in the problem-solving approach with an appetite to fail along the way
• Comfort working with “high velocity” teams that prioritize shipping experiences to users quickly and at a high cadence
